150 is low if you have stock cams, you should see at least 160 with stock ones, 165-170 is where you ideally want to be. But if you have cams, depending on which ones, you will have overlap in your valves; creating less compression. Also, which rings do you have? If you have molly rings you break them in easy, but if you have chrome rings you have to break them in hard or they will never seat, usually chrome rings are broken in on a dyno, to make sure you’re not running lean.
